I write dark country music about real people
with real stories — the kind that hurt to say out loud.
"The darkest stories make the greatest songs.— Dark Country Boy
I'm looking for yours."
THE STUDIO
Every submission I read goes into a room that looks like this. Real studio. Real music. Real craft.
THE PROCESS
Tell me who you are, where you're from, and what happened. The darker and more honest, the better. Include a photo of yourself.
Personally. No algorithms, no team. I go through submissions when I'm writing. If your story hits me the right way, it becomes a song.
Your name. Your story. Out there in the music. I'll send you the link the day it drops. You'll hear yourself in the lyrics.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
The kind that hollowed you out. The one that changed you.
Veterans, combat, the things you carry that civilians can't understand.
Addiction, darkness, rock bottom — and what it took to crawl out.
A person. A life. A dream. Something irreplaceable that's gone.
People who never fit. Who went their own way regardless of cost.
Small town, dirt under your nails, never quit no matter what.
If it hurts to say it out loud — it probably belongs in a dark country song.
Takes about five minutes. Might be the most honest thing you've written.
